Tattoo Design Post 1

Om Nama Shivaya!

These are some tattoo designs I just recently did for my friend Bernie. The one image is a snail on a rose, inspired by a more "traditional" tattoo style mixed with a little of my flavor(it's a spicy flavor, a bit like Frank's Red Hot). The other image is a heavily inspired by Amy Sol's work. Check out her work at www.amysol.com, she's pretty badass and her paintings are as well... to be honest I don't know her personally, so she may not be badass, it might just be her paintings, but if I had to guess I would say, based on her paintings, that she is badass. I will also be posting the tattoo I did of this drawing shortly... so drop back by anytime.

Om Nama Shivaya!

I just finished this tattoo. The first image is the tattoo itself and the second one is a colored-pencil concept sketch. The tattoo is located on the lower side of a Tattoo Trooper by the name of Sarah. This is her first tattoo, it took 4 1/2 hours, and it serves as a remembrance of a lost love one.

Sketchbook Post 2

Om Nama Shivaya!

I know it's only been two days since my last sketchbook post but I'm feeling pretty motivated lately and I thought I would just post more when I felt like it, rather than trying to keep some sort of posting schedule.

These are some sketches of a few characters that I find entertaining. Hope you enjoy!

NEWS: 12/23/08

Hello Everyone!

As you may have noticed, if you've previously visited this Blog, is that I've update many things. I hope to continue in consistently updating this Blog, because it seems like that's the point right?! I hope to share with you a more up-to-date glimpse of my day to day, in attempts to spread the Hundredth Monkey Effect. In this critical time, not as if this time is any more critical than any other time, I feel it is within my fidelity to the expansion of Consciousness to put more effort into publishing my work and bringing more light to Luminaries, Visionaries, Revolutionaries and Canaries.

Some New Things:
* I have been back in Philadelphia for a little over a month and many things are the same and many things have changed.
* I have recently went %100 Raw Food Lifestyle, where I eat the best fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. And I will be posting more information and links to Raw Foods in the future. So... look out!
* I had some prints made of "The Beginning" of the Hundredth Monkey Effect collection that are for sale @: www.100thmonkeyeffect.etsy.com
* I have started some new Ink/Wash paintings and portraits, that I will be posting soon.
* I have continued to tattoo and I have found a deeper connection and understanding to the nature of tattoos. I have recently finished up a few tattoos that I will be posting soon.
*I have continued to develop my painting style and have recently switch over to oil on canvas, which is completely badass, to say the least. Painting is the main focus of my current body of work and I most definitely look forward to expanding this collection.
* Meredith, my wife and best friend, has recently participated in a Holiday show at ART STAR in Philadelphia. And also over the fall got to display and sell her work in NYC, in the Village. (She sold really well and made some contacts.)
Check out her work @: www.poppyseedtree.typepad.com
* Our dog Bug, is still chill as shit and she pretty much is stoked about laying in her bed all day and she gets really jazzed when I feed her tasty dog treats.

I hope you see the true nature of the Holidays and spread as much Love, Light and non-materialistic Joy as possible.

Sketchbook Post 1

Om Nama Shivaya!

Every Week I will be posting new sketches from my most recent sketchbook. A sketchbook is many things to me. Most importantly it is a non-linear chronological display of the direction of my work. This image specifically is a step in a new direction, incorporating many aspects of my previous work. Thanks For viewing!
